Plenty of new snow this morning...very little accumulation on the metal roofs, due to the strong westerlies that are blowing, but there's maybe five inches of new stuff underfoot. We're getting the winds now that pounded Vancouver Island and the lower mainland overnight...but they're not as strong.
The tall leaning dead pine has an appointment with the chainsaw very soon. If the wind had been blowing from the east, I'm pretty sure it would have come down by itself.
Snow games! The dogs love to play in the snow, but they're always happy to come back inside to warm up.
