Burning

There's something very satisfying about reducing an enormous stump pile to a heap of ashes. This afternoon I renewed our industrial burn permit and lit up the huge stump pile near the back fence...this was taken about two hours later. Tomorrow after work I'll use the tractor to pile up the outer edge stuff that didn't burn today, and possibly light up pile number two.

I do like a good bonfire, but this one is on the large size for roasting marshmallows!

Can I bring over some marshmallows? Ha! I've noticed a few burn piles around here too - must be a good time of year to do it.

By the way, I'm having a Christmas giveaway on my blog this week and thought I'd let you know so you don't miss it. It should be lots of fun :)
